This is in the core support category of NDIS supports. Its purpose is to help people to take part in social or recreational activities within their community.
In essence – we support people with individualised services and assistance to live the life they choose, whether is it is in their home, within the community or across their chosen lifestyle.
With accommodation support, you’ll meet someone who will take care of the day-to-day things your carer usually provides (including personal care). We know finding the right person for your support is really important, that’s why we’d love to share a little more about our team here.
Day Programs provide clients with an opportunity to actively participate in and be valued by their community. All programs are designed for the service user to achieve full participation and goals
We appreciate the desire and passion to remain independent in your own home, and we provide a wide range of tailored support services to enable people living with a disability to achieve this.
We help individuals develop their skills and abilities to perform functions, solve problems, set and achieve objectives, and understand and deal with their development needs in a broader context and in a sustainable manner.
Our Allied health professionals use an enablement approach to work with people with disabilities to improve their health, wellness and capacity to participate in everyday life- at home, school or the workplace. Allied health practitioners also diagnose health issues arising as a result of a disability, support the disabled person with strategies to manage the disability, and provide therapeutic care.
Depending on your individual needs, our friendly and experienced Disability Support Workers can visit on a daily basis or occasionally, several times a week or overnight, ensuring that you receive the services that most suit you.
